Service Description

Join us for ten weeks of art sessions run by recent Fine Art Graduate Sophie Thomas. Sophie set up Neston Art Club in her first year of studies at Liverpool Hope University, aiming to increase people's connections through creativity. The art club has gone from strength to strength, last September they hosted a successfully exhibition ‘Together We Create’ in Neston Library showcasing the work they created. They also gained funding from Liverpool Hope University for materials which meant students from Liverpool Hope could come and run sessions for the Art Club. No two weeks are the same, every session is based on a different art medium or technique, so come join our growing community & get creative! If you’d like to see what they get up to, follow them on Instagram @neston.artclub & reach out to Sophie with any questions. The group is aimed at older people, but all are welcome! 10 week course for older people, teaching art techniques and styles. Suitable for complete beginners to experienced artists. Fridays 2pm-4pm at NCYC. Booking essential - please call 0151 336 7805 to book. £5 per session or pay for all 10 sessions for £50.00 - pay on the door.
