Ness Resident, Viki has already completed the first of three challenges she has set herself in support of Neston Community Youth Centre.
Having suffered a major health scare within the last few years Viki has become more conscious of the benefits of remaining fit and healthy.
On a cold dark winter evening, while nursing a broken collarbone, Viki decided to really challenge herself by taking on the Chester Triple.
Starting last month with the Chester 10k, she is now taking on the Chester Half Marathon this weekend and finally the Metric Marathon (26 km) in October
On her JustGiving page Viki said "what I really hope to achieve is to raise awareness and funds for our wonderful community centre in the heart of Neston, which provides important support and care for a wide range of local residents of all ages. Many are not aware that NCYC is a registered charity. Without the support of the community as a whole the Centre may struggle to continue to carry out its vital outreach programmes, assisting vulnerable people in real times of need'.
