Happy Christmas from NCYC

As the year draws to a close, it feels like the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and give heartfelt thanks to the people who make everything we do possible.

Thank you to our incredible staff for their dedication, resilience and passion. Their hard work throughout the year, often behind the scenes, creates real impact.

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers, who are the heart and soul of our organisation. Their time, energy and generosity shows what true community spirit looks like.

Thank you to our trustees, for their guidance, wisdom and steady leadership. Their support keeps us focused, accountable and ready for the challenges and opportunities that the year ahead will bring.

Thank you to our members and supporters, for believing in our mission and standing beside us.

In the spirit of the festive season, NCYC will be taking a short break to celebrate with loved ones. Our doors will be closed from 12pm on Wednesday 24th December 2025 and we will reopen on Friday 2nd January 2026. During this period, the community centre will remain open for Job Centre appointments only.

Additionally, we understand the importance of supporting those in need, especially during the holiday season. Therefore the community centre will be open on Monday 22nd and Monday 29th December, from 10am-12pm for Foodbank.

For those that access our Well Fed provision, the last collection will be Wednesday 17th December (please place order by Wednesday 10th December). Orders can be made when they return on Wednesday 7th January for collection 14th January.

As we head into the festive season, we hope you are able to take time to rest, recharge, and connect with the people who matter the most. Christmas is a time of warmth, kindness, and reflection. It is a reminder of how powerful we can be when we support one another.

Please remember to look after yourselves, and look after each other. A small act of kindness can make a big difference, especially at this time of year.
