A Message from our Chair

Dear friends and supporters,

As you may already know, after nine years of service, our Chief Executive, Gareth Prytherch, has decided to embark on a new chapter in his career and is moving on to lead Wirral CVS. While we are sad to bid him farewell, we also take this opportunity to warmly welcome our newly appointed Chief Executive, Rachael Furey who some of you may know has been leading on our work with the health sector for the past three years. With this transition, we look forward to embracing change, new perspectives, and continued growth in our mission to ensure everyone in our community is able to live healthy, fulfilled and connected lives.

A Fond Farewell to Gareth:

Under Gareth's leadership, we have achieved a great deal, touching the lives of many in our community. His passion, dedication, and commitment have shaped the organisation as we have moved from hiring out space to delivering our services and ensuring that the work of our partners remain accessible in our community. We extend our gratitude for his leadership and the culture of social impact he leaves behind. As an organisation. we are immensely proud of our achievements under his guidance. As we bid him farewell, we wish Gareth every success in his future endeavours, confident that he will continue to make a difference wherever he goes.

Embracing New Leadership:

Change often brings with it a sense of anticipation and excitement and we are thrilled to introduce our new Chief Executive, Rachael Furey, who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for our work. With her expertise, energy, and enthusiasm, we are confident that Rachael will lead us to even greater things.

Rachael's experience and exceptional leadership qualities make her an ideal fit for NCYC. Having joined the organisation during the pandemic as our lead on working with our health partners, she brings a deep understanding of the organisation and our community, as well as a unique perspective that will help us navigate an ever-evolving landscape.

Looking Ahead:

As we embrace this new chapter, we remain committed to our mission and the values that have defined us from the beginning. With the support of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous donors, we will continue to make a positive impact in our community.

We encourage you, our valued supporters, to stand with us as we embark on this exciting journey. Your unwavering support and belief in what we do has been instrumental in our achievements thus far, and we invite you to join us as we write the next chapter of our story.

Change is an opportunity for growth, and as we bid farewell to Gareth and welcome Rachael, we are filled with gratitude for the past and excitement for the future. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to sharing our successes with you as we move forward.

We would like to invite you to come to Neston Community Youth Centre on Thursday 29th June from 3pm to thank Gareth and wish him well for the future and take the opportunity to meet Rachael.

Warm regards,

David Clark
