Neston Angels was thrilled to celebrate with one of its clients this week at her 100th birthday party.
Paula has been receiving support from Neston Angels since June 2018 and invited her befriender Helen to her party along with Dy who makes Neston Angels' weekly calls to clients and Zaria, the Community Activities Co-ordinator.
Befriender Helen visits Paula weekly for a chat and has been learning chess with her. Paula is an excellent chess player, so good that she recently beat a fellow resident and chess grand master!
Paula also speaks four languages, and would love to be able to converse with anyone who speaks German, Dutch or Belgian.
