Refugee and Asylum Seeker support in CH64

Cheshire West and Chester Council Refugee Support Team​

Move on Support Officers (MOSO)

Drop in at NCYC the last Thursday of the month 10am-1pm

MOSOs support asylum seekers pre decision (i.e. no financial support) – support given at existing community drop ins and hubs. They signpost/refer to:

  • local provision

  • legal advice

  • healthcare

  • libraries

  • community sector organisations

  • volunteering groups

  • activities

  • information about housing (council and private, emergency and priority need)

Improving your English

English Conversation Groups - The aim of the groups is to build confidence in speaking English and improve listening skills, through everyday conversations. These are ideal for speakers of other languages. English conversation groups currently take place at:

Neston Library -  Saturdays, 10.30am - 12pm, weekly (coming soon!)

NCYC - Wednesdays, 12.30pm-2pm, weekly, term time (coming soon!)
