All sold out for first film of the Autumn at Neston Flicks Saturday 28th Sep

Apologies to the people still clamouring for tickets but tomorrow's Saturday night Flicks is now all sold out. Perhaps it's the fact that Neston's own heartwarmers, The 64 N'Ukes are going to do an extra-special set on the night ,performing songs from the film!

Based on a true story, Fisherman's Friends is a fun and light-hearted Britcom with beautiful scenery and some equally beautiful harmonies from the down to earth cast . In real life, the Fisherman's Friends were discovered by the radio DJ Johnnie Walker during a holiday to the fishing village of Port Isaac.

"Fisherman's Friends is a formulaic but thoroughly amiable and upbeat British comedy with a flavour of Ealing Studios and The Full Monty about it." - The Independent

Come and enjoy the usual Flicks formula of hot food, cake, licenced bar and great atmosphere at Neston Civic Hall on Saturday 28th September. Doors open 6pm for the chance to enjoy a drink from the bar, a bowl of homemade scouse with crusty bread, or a slice of fresh cream cake. Films start at 7pm, with an interval halfway through, and usually finish around 9pm with a round of applause for the wonderful team of volunteers who make it all happen!
