Vindication Swim

The inspirational story of Mercedes Gleitze, who in 1927 became the first British woman to swim the English Channel. Discover Mercedes' struggle in overcoming both the cold waters of the English Channel and the oppressive society of 1920s England.

Doors open at 6.15pm for the option of a drink or slice of cake before the film starts at 7pm. Tickets can be bought online at https://www.ncyc.charity/flicks-events or call into the community centre on Burton Road to pay by card or cash. Become a NCYC member online and get 20% off for all films. Neston Angels volunteers come free. You can also grab yourself a cuppa, scrummy slice of cake, get a drink from the licensed bar, and have an ice-cream at the interval.
