Film Club - 15th September 2024

This months film is 'The Dig' starring Ralph Fiennes and Carey Mulligan. 

It is set in 1939 on the eve of World War II, and tells the story of Basil Brown, the self-taught archaeologist who is hired by Edith Petty to excavate some mounds on her estate, which turn out to be the Sutton Hoo Anglo Saxon ship burial. A captivating and enthralling film which is highly recommended.
